Sir,
I have the honour to acknowledge
the receipt of your despatch No.76 of 21st February, 1934, regarding the proposed exemption from the filing of balance sheets with the Registrar of Companies, Hong Kong, of private companies incorporated outside Hong Kong and carrying on business within Hong Kong, and to inform you in reply that, after correspondence on this subject had passed between the Registrar of Companies, Hong Kong and the Registrar of Companies in England,it was decided in December last to adopt in this Colony the practice which is followed by the Registrar of
Companies in England.
